In Math this week we have been reviewing for our math assessment for 2nd Quarter. Then, we took the math test. It was a review over fact families, subtraction, place value, 120's charts, ordinal numbers, doubles, doubles plus one and more!! The kids did great!!! We showed them their tests & will save them for you to see at conferences. We are very proud of them. We played a fun dot game that took a lot of strategy and logic to play. We also introduced Arrays to the children. This is good practice for learning groups of or mulitplication.
During Social Studies this week we have been focusing on The Nativity and on Christmas. We did an activity with Miss Stark learning all about the Nativity and theme pages with Mrs. Sansale.
This week we didn't have computer lab or hands on science due to our exciting Talent Show. We had piano players, artists, musicians, mind readers, magicians, soccer players, comedians, and dancers. Here are some of the acts.....see below.
