The children sorted facts that are real or fantasy. Then, they wrote their final answers down on paper.
The children made thank you cards for Mr. Long for his wonderful presentation on Australia.
Miss Fate introduced the story The Little Red Hen & showed the children how to understand story elements such as: characters, setting, problem & solution.
Mrs. Waller reviewed 100's board work with the children to help improve their number sense.
Miss Fate had a Math Easter Egg Hunt around the room with the kids. They had to find the eggs, open them up, read the problem and then solve the problem on their recording sheets. The math problems were all review questions over all the concepts we have learned about this year! They all said, "This is so much fun!"
Social Studies--Mrs. Waller's Wonderful Power Point unravelled clues. Then, the children had to guess the Fairy Tale. It was such a fun creative way to introduce our new theme!
