WORN OUT! It is hard work watching a 45 minute play!
In math we continue to review fractions. We also used our FLAT SELVES that we made a few weeks ago to graph ourselves according to different attributes. After graphing ourselves on a large graph out in the commons, we collected the data, brought it back to the room and placed it on an actual bar graph. Each child completed their own. We will continue to work with this data as we complete more fun activities with our FLAT SELVES.
Fraction Sort
The students place their favorite bird on the graph!
We graphed ourselves according to our favorite sports team!
Transferring data onto our very own bar graphs.....
In TNT we made lizards. We wrote an Australian fact on each lizard and then painted some Aboriginal symbols on them.
Due to parent/teacher conferences, we did not have Hands-On Science or computer lab this week.

See the message below from our International Festival Committee:
Dear Parents,
The International Festival committee is looking for pictures
you might have of your child to put in our slideshow for the International
Festival. If you have a picture of your child while traveling out of the
country, out of town or by any kind of landmark, please send it along to Kate Hamlin at khamlin@speds.org. We are asking that
you email your picture to us by Monday, March 25th, so we are
able to incorporate it into our slideshow.
Thanks so much for your help!
We look forward to visiting with you about your children. See you then!
Love, Sara and Melissa
