WE ARE LOVING FIRST GRADE!!!!
In Math this week we are reviewing our friends of ten, 10 frames & learning about doubles. An informational note about our doubles test will be coming out next week. With Mrs. Sansale the children played a flash frame game with paddles to help them learn their 10 frames. We also had each child make their own 10 frames so they could flash them to a friend and have them guess how many they saw of each. The children are bringing them home and might try them out on you! with Mrs. O'Connor they also played with QR codes on the iPads and worked on the illuminations on NCTM website. They really enjoyed building ten frames as well as figuring out how to combine ten frames. It was so cool!!!!!
