It's a BEARY special time in First!

 GO ROYALS!!!!

Our music program was fantastic!  We've got an Autumnish feeling!!!!  We are so proud of our first graders & a big thanks to Mrs. Haskamp for a great program!!!

We have had a short but busy week.  We finished up our Halloween Stories and can't wait to share them with you at parent/teacher conferences! We learned about verbs & made our own VERBS THAT POP!

TNT- Try New Things- We made scarecrows.  We had to color, cut, brad, staple, glitter & glue them.  It was a long process but worth it!  They turned out great!

Math- In math this week we did some Bear Logic.  They were very hard math problems that the teachers guided us through the process.  The kids loved a challenge and it was fun to solve the problems as a class.

Social Studies- In social studies we learned about the Panda bears this week.  The kids saw a live camera from the San Diego Zoo that was showing bears.  We worked in our theme notebooks and filled in our KWL chart on bears.

We look forward meeting with you all on Thursday/Friday for parent/teacher conferences!  LETS GO ROYALS!!!!!
