Once Upon a Time...

Welcome little Sloane Harper Sansale into the world!  We are so happy for Mrs. Sansale!!
 
 
We have ended Australia and started our new theme: FAIRY TALES AND FOLK TALES!  It has been such a fun and busy week- take a look at all we have learned!

Math:  We continued our unit of measurement.  This is such a fun, hands-on unit for students!  They have learned so much already!

Social Studies We started our new theme- Fairy Tales and Folk Tales!  Mrs. Herbers brought in a mystery bag full of clues, and the students guessed the fairy tale!  Then we talked about the elements of a Fairy Tale vs. a Folk Tale and wrote about our favorites.  And, of course, we started reading some great examples!!



TNT:

We created book covers for our Australian Animal Hunt stories!!  The first few are finished- come by and read them outside our classroom!
