October is Here!

An Awesome Week!

In math we introduced some new concepts.
This book helped us learn about counting by fives
We related skip counting by 2's, 5's and 10's on the Smart Board


We also passed a ball around skip counting in turns

Then we rolled the ball to each other

We also marked skip counts on our 100's board

This is a doubles review game using dice

We also showed number sentences with stickers



COMMUNITY HELPERS!
Firefighters from the Westport Firehouse came with their truck and equipment

We got to see a firefighter dress in full gear

Lots of cool tools to help keep us safe! These are the Jaws of Life.
